Vaginal Birth Training
Süleyman Demirel University Vocational School of Health Services organized a critical training event for the First and Emergency Aid program students. The guest of the training was Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Midwifery faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Gün Kakaşçı and Research Assistant Emine Alver. The training was organized to improve students' professional knowledge and skills.
Vaginal birth is an essential issue in the field of health, and knowing the complications and correct intervention methods in the birth process is crucial for healthcare professionals to provide adequate service. In this context, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Gün Kakaşçı and Research Assistant Emine Alver informed the students about the vaginal birth process. They provided detailed information about the situations that may be encountered at every stage of labor and the clinical interventions made in this process.
The training focused on prenatal preparation, the birth process, and what to do afterward. Students' questions were answered. In addition, practical information on complications that may arise during labor and how to deal with these situations was shared. With the training, the students gained more in-depth knowledge about vaginal birth and reinforced this knowledge in practice for use in their future professional lives.
By combining theoretical knowledge with practice, such training helps students provide more competent and safe services in their fields. Head of First and Emergency Aid Program Lect. Gör. Fatma GÜNDÜZ GÜÇ stated that such activities will continue and that they aim to continuously improve the quality of education in the field of health.
