Medical Imaging Techniques Program

Medical Imaging Associate Degree Program is a 2-year program consisting of 120 ECTS. The program provides the ECTS requirements and level qualifications that are determined for SHORT LEVEL qualifications defined in the European Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (QF-EHEA) of the Bologna Process and LEVEL 5 qualifications defined in the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework, as well as LEVEL 5 qualifications defined in the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF-LLL). Students who successfully complete the program are awarded an Associate Degree (Diploma) in Medical Imaging. Medical Imaging Program started education in 2010-2011 academic year within Isparta Vocational School of Health Services and students who graduate at the end of two years of education work as Medical Imaging Technicians in health institutions. Students studying in the Medical Imaging Program perform the radiological examinations requested by the physician with the most appropriate shooting protocols. By accepting patients in order of priority, they ensure that the examinations are referred to the relevant departments. The Medical Imaging Techniques Program, which provides formal and secondary education, aims to provide accurate diagnosis and treatment of diseases. They graduate as Medical Imaging Technicians who can follow professional scientific developments and updates.
