Geriatric Care Program
Associate Degree Program in Geriatric Care is a 2-year program consisting of 120 ECTS. The program provides the ECTS conditions and level competencies determined for SHORT LEVEL defined in the European Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (QF-EHEA) of the Bologna Process and LEVEL 5 qualifications defined in the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) as well as the LEVEL 5 qualifications defined in the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF-LLL). Students who successfully complete the program are awarded an Associate Degree (Diploma) in Elderly Care. The Elderly Care Program started education in the 2010-2011 academic year within the body of Isparta Health Services Vocational School and students who graduate at the end of the two-year education work as Health Technicians in health institutions. Students receiving education in the Elderly Care Program integrate and internalize the necessary knowledge, skills and values in care services and; They graduate as Elderly Care Technicians who are qualified to implement and develop elderly care services in the public, private and non-governmental organizations and who can follow professional scientific developments and updates.

The mission of our program is to contribute to the training of contemporary individuals who can provide high quality and effective service in the health sector, are committed to ethical values, have command of modern technologies, have strong communication and organizational skills, integrate and internalize the necessary knowledge, skills and values in care services; are qualified to implement and develop elderly care services in public, private and civil society organizations, follow professional scientific developments and updates, and are committed to our national values and Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions.
Vision
To train competent and equipped health care professionals who can provide the care that elderly individuals need, prepare and provide the necessary environments, contribute to the development of health standards and the increase in the quality of life of elderly individuals, are capable of implementing and developing elderly care services, can produce solutions, have analytical thinking skills, teamwork and a sense of responsibility, have reached an international level of knowledge in the field of care for elderly individuals, and aim to provide high quality and effective services, are compatible with technological developments, are committed to ethical values.
