They can work as administrator, teacher and teacher assistant in private nursery and kindergartens, administrator, teacher and teacher assistant in special education and rehabilitation centers, master instructor in kindergartens and primary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, parent educator in private research and consultancy companies, nursing mother in mother and child health centers, inpatient treatment institutions and Social Services Child Protection Institutions, designer in children's publications and toys sectors, child care staff for children of working parents. Graduates can also gain the right to enroll in undergraduate programs with the vertical transfer exam if there is a quota in their fields by taking advantage of the “Regulation on the Transition of Vocational School Graduates and Open Education Associate Degree Graduates to Undergraduate Programs”.

Mission
To determine the developmental levels of children aged 0-18 in all developmental areas (mental, language, self-care, motor, emotional and social development), to prepare programs appropriate to their developmental levels and to make environmental arrangements; to provide consultancy to children, families, institutions, individuals working in the field of child development and to train qualified child developers equipped with multidisciplinary working formation.

To train child developers who have the competence and scientific perspective to work in different sectors (health, education, justice, etc.) in the field of child development, who can renew and develop themselves in line with the developing and changing needs of society, who are creative, open to contemporary approaches, and to maximize student-centered practices and quality in education in order to achieve this goal.
