The Theme of Family Communication Was Addressed Within the Scope of TÜBİTAK Science Talks
Dr. Yasemin Tarcan, a faculty member of the Child Development Program at Isparta Health Services Vocational School of Süleyman Demirel University, met with students at various schools at the primary, middle, and high school levels between April and May 2026 within the scope of the TÜBİTAK Science Talks Program.
The schools where the talks on the theme of “Family Communication” were held are as follows: Isparta 15 Temmuz Şehitler Anatolian High School, Burdur/Bucak Mehmet Cadıl Anatolian High School, Burdur/Çavdır TOKİ Middle School, Isparta Selahaddin Seçkin Primary School, and Antalya/Alanya Fatih Sultan Mehmet Middle School.
During the talks, the effects of healthy family communication on child development, the importance of the parent-child relationship, and approaches to strengthening dialogue within the family were discussed. In the activities organized for different age groups in the provinces of Isparta, Burdur, and Antalya, students were informed about family relationships and communication skills.
