Online Resource Search Training Provided to Students at SDU Isparta HSVS

Süleyman Demirel University (SDU) Isparta Vocational School of Health Services (HSVS) students attended an educational session on accessing online resources and academic research techniques. The training was delivered by SDU Information Center academic staff member Ali Karatopuk and librarian Kemel Bulut from the SDU Information Center.

The training took place in the HSVS library and provided students with detailed guidance on accessing reliable and scientific resources for their academic studies. During the event, students were introduced to the databases, electronic journals, e-books, and other online resources offered by the SDU Library and Documentation Department. Participants were also informed about effective search techniques, such as identifying keywords, filtering, citing sources, and using reference management tools.

Lecturer Fatma Gündüz Güç emphasized that such activities significantly contribute to students' academic development.
Lecturer Gözde Karaca stated that the effective use of online resources enhances professional competence.
Lecturer Ensar Güney pointed out that the hands-on nature of the training increased student engagement.
Lecturer Sevilay Kılınçkaya mentioned that information literacy skills are essential for today’s healthcare professionals.
