“Is There Anyone Who Hears Your Voice?” Project Concluded with a Final Gathering
The final gathering of the “Is There Anyone Who Hears Your Voice?” social responsibility project, carried out by the Elderly Care Program of SDU Isparta Vocational School of Health Services, was held on May 18, 2026.
For nearly 10 weeks, students communicated with older adults aged 65 and over every morning by phone, greeting them with a warm “good morning.” Over time, these conversations turned into sincere friendships and a meaningful intergenerational bond.
During the final gathering, students and participating older adults came together and enjoyed activities such as a quiz competition, the “Who Am I?” game, karaoke, and memory sharing sessions.
The “Is There Anyone Who Hears Your Voice?” project once again showed that even a simple “good morning” can build strong human connections.
