Geriatric Care
Geriatric Care Program is a 2-year program consisting of 120 ECTS. The program also fulfils the ECTS conditions and level qualifications determined for the SHORT LEVEL defined in the European Qualifications Upper Framework in Higher Education (QF-EHEA) of the Bologna Process and the 5th LEVEL qualifications defined in the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ). It provides LEVEL 5 qualifications defined in the Qualifications Framework (EQF-LLL). Aged Care Associate Degree (Diploma) is given to students who successfully complete the program. The Elderly Care Program started education in Isparta Health Services Vocational School in the 2010-2011 academic year, and the students who graduated after two years of education work as Health Technicians in health institutions. Students studying in the Elderly Care Program integrate and assimilate the necessary knowledge, skills and values in care; They graduate as Elderly Care Technicians who have the qualifications to implement and develop the elderly care service in public, private and non-governmental organizations and can follow professional scientific developments and updates.
