Implemented with the collaboration of the Isparta Governorship, Süleyman Demirel University Rectorate, Isparta Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, and SDU Isparta Vocational School of Health Services, the project includes providing comprehensive care services for elderly individuals waiting for nursing home placement. In this context, the project aims to reduce the need for institutional care services by supporting elderly individuals in their home environments.

The protocol was signed by the Governor of Isparta, Mr. Abdullah Erin, the Rector of Süleyman Demirel University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Saltan, the Director of SDU Isparta Vocational School of Health Services, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümit Kara, and the Provincial Director of Family and Social Services, Mr. Hüseyin Güçlü.

The 14-week project will be coordinated by Lecturer Sevilay Kılınçkaya, Deputy Head of the Department of Health Care Services at SDU Isparta Vocational School of Health Services, and Mr. İsmail Bayram, Deputy Director of the Isparta Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services. Within this framework, 1st and 2nd-year students of the Elderly Care Program at the Department of Health Care Services will visit elderly individuals on designated days to provide care services. Students will assist with personal care, monitor health conditions, and offer psychological and social support. At the same time, the project aims to help students embrace ethical values and develop a sense of professional responsibility.

It is emphasized that the project is not only intended to meet the care needs of elderly individuals but also to enhance intergenerational interaction, enabling young people to gain professional experience and contribute to social solidarity. Additionally, supporting elderly individuals at home to delay or prevent nursing home admissions is highlighted as one of the project's core objectives.

The "From Generation to Generation Breath" project is expected to increase access to care services for elderly individuals while strengthening intergenerational solidarity in society.
