Elderly Care Program Students participated in the XI International Symposium on Social and Applied Gerontology

As part of the educational activities organized by the Elderly Care Program at S.D.Ü. Vocational School of Health Services, Department of Health Care Services, 37 first-year students from the Elderly Care Program participated in the “XI International Symposium on Social and Applied Gerontology,” held at Akdeniz University’s Atatürk Conference Hall on 21st November 2024, accompanied by Lecturer Sevilay Kılınçkaya.

Throughout the symposium, our students gained knowledge about academic publications on a wide range of national and international topics, including aging, old age, dementia, gerontology, geriatrics, nutrition in the elderly, and biogerontology. Additionally, having the opportunity to meet face-to-face with many scientists from both abroad and within the country was beneficial for our students.
