An Interview titled “Archive Services in Hospitals and Digital Transformation of Archives” was held

Within the scope of the “Medical Documentation and Secretarial Knowledge” course, Isparta Health Services Vocational School Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program students and lecturers came together in the course hosted by Medical Secretary Murat GELİR, who is responsible for the Central Archive of our University Research and Application Hospital, and Cardiology Archive staff Mahmut ÇELİK. They had a conversation titled “Archive Services in Hospitals and Digital Transformation in Archives”.

In the interview, Medical Secretary Murat GELİR made a detailed presentation on the archiving system of outpatient, inpatient, and forensic patient files, the use of archived files, the powers of archive personnel, the conditions under which patients and their relatives can access archived files, the location of archives within the hospital and how archived documents are protected. Archive staff Mahmut Çelik explained the digitalization journey of the physical archive in the hospital and the advantages of digitalization in all detail.

In the last part of the interview, which students attended, students' questions were answered.
