An Inspiring Gathering Among Süleyman Demirel University Medical Data Processing Students

 

Students from the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 academic cohorts of the Medical Data Processing Program at Süleyman Demirel University, Isparta Vocational School of Health Services came together for a peer mentoring event. During the event, students engaged in an interactive Q&A session, exchanging insights on university life, the program’s curriculum, professional development opportunities, field work, and industry expectations. Second-year students shared their internship experiences, field practice observations, and practical knowledge with their first-year peers. The meeting focused particularly on internship experiences, addressing key considerations prior to internship placement, scenarios encountered during the process, and professional competencies gained.

The event proved highly beneficial, allowing senior students to share their experiences while providing junior students with direct answers to their questions, thereby strengthening communication and solidarity within the student body. We extend our sincere gratitude to all the students who contributed to organizing this event which brought together future medical data processing technicians, enhanced professional awareness, and fostered inter-cohort solidarity and wish them continued success.
